Automatic Message Transmission Received

The Automatic Message is an ongoing audiovisual project between Trevor Jacobson (techno producer) and Tanya Goehring (photographer/non-linear filmmaker). Mixing photography, film and sound together, they create slightly off-kilter techno and perform live audiovisual sets. With releases out on the Seattle label From 0-1 and the Montreal label Monsieur Musique, The Automatic Message is proving to be a new act to watch. Their first release on From 0-1 – “Moving Walkway” – hit #3 on Speedy J’s Electric Deluxe, Juno and Resident Advisor Summer 2009 charts. They are currently based in Vancouver, B.
