Milkplant (From 0-1 :: Convex :: Pilbus :: Subsensory :: Slant)
Milkplant was born in Cleveland, and soon after relocated to the outlying burbs of Milwaukee; a few hours north of Chicago. He eschewed the idea of being breast fed and started playing with modular synthesizers at the age of 1. Soon afterward he picked up his first 12" record. At the age of 2 he was rocking warehouse parties well before the word "RAVE" hit the American countryside. At the age of 3 he decided all this was rubbish and took a hiatus until the age of 19 when he thought it was a good idea to start playing records again. Then when he was 23 he had another brilliant idea and thought it was time to re-explore modular synthesis and rekindle his love affair with electronic music he gave up when he was 1. To this day it still appears to him as a big mistake. But as with everyone on planet Earth- a job's a job

Sone (From 0-1)
Sone is Seattle based DJ & Producer Brian Sonnleitner. His first exploits into music was drumming in various punk and ska bands growing up in Wisconsin. Then late one August evening, after witnessing Chris Liberator melt his mind, Brian shifted gears into pursuing his passion for techno full time. Now a DJ of over a decade, his sets push towards intense builds and disorientating breakdowns all while being stuffed full of tension, but always maintaining the all-important element of the dance floor. In 2008 Brian moved into the realm of production with his tracks exploring the bigger and darker side of techno. Sone’s remix contest for his track “Recovery Mode”, released off From 0-1, received far reaching interest and support with submissions coming in from all over North America, the UK, and Hungary. Brian is also the co-owner of From 0-1 and the Logistics Manager for the label. One of Seattle’s brightest up-and-comers, the years ahead will surely see his impact on the Northwest and beyond.

Ctrl_Alt_Dlt (Sweatbox, From 0-1)
Ctrl_Alt_Dlt is a Seattle based DJ originally hailing from the tame streets of suburban Detroit. "I went to my first party in 1999 and have had this insatiable appetite for techno music ever since, I just can't get enough." Strongly influenced by the sounds coming out of the Motor City, Ctrl_Alt_Dlt has taken the genre of techno and made it his own. His sets are rooted in the minimal sound with an emphasis on the more abstract side of things, while also fully incorporating all elements of techno and house creating a set full of highs and lows, never giving away too much at a time. "I like to find tracks that have the wierdest most abstract noises possible. Exposing people's minds to sounds and textures they have never heard before is my ultimate goal." In addition to residencies around the city Ctrl_Alt_Dlt is also a founding member of Sweatbox, a strictly techno based productions group who continue to bring the late night underground flavor to the city.

T.Shade (Condiment)
T.Shade has gone by many different DJ names over the past 10 years, playing house, techno, down tempo, weird shit, and lots of other styles of music... other than country and very very rarely anything that would be considered "pop"... Except Justin Timberlake because I think he is dreamy and I'll play the shit out of some JT.

From 0-1 is a local techno label started in Seattle in 2007 by Justin "Milkplant" Pennel and Brian "SONE" Sonnleitner and has since branched out to the Bay Area with Justin's relocation down there. "Pet the Ceiling" is the debut release by Ctrl_Alt_Dlt with remixes by Derek Plaslaiko, Milkplant and Let's Go Outside, Aaron Nesbit and SONE, out soon on From 0-1.
